Mike Wazowski and James Sullivan need Marcelline Inc to help them save their world! With the help of Converto, we will succeed in sending enough energy to avoid the complete destruction of Monstropolis. Two opposing teams with two robots will go head-to-head in the playfield for a period of five minutes. Each team will debut in their respective zones, where each robot will be equipped with five energy balls; thirty supplementary energy balls will be available to the respective teams’ dispensers. It is crucial to note that once the pieces are withdrawn from the distributors, all members of the competition will be able to use them.
In order to score points, the teams will have to drop their pieces in the aimed targets, such as a prism, a cylinder and a target in a “V” form. The respective points given are ten (10), twenty (20) or thirty (30) by energy balls that are thrown in. If a piece happens to accidentally be dropped in the opponents’ target, they will be the ones accumulating the points.
The teams will also have a chance to maximise their points, by having two types of multipliers at their disposition. The multiplier of three levels (3L) allows the energy balls sent across the “V” shaped target to be counted. Thus, if a team wants to multiply their points in the “V”, they have to throw at least one energy ball in the multiplier. More points will be given if there is more than one energy ball found in the multiplier (2 pieces are equivalent to double the points, 3 pieces are equivalent to the triple amount of points, etc.). However, the energy balls that are thrown in the target will not be counted once the three levels of the multiplier are full.
Then, the party multiplier or Quadcore could multiply up to twice the total amount of points scored by the team that has put the most pieces in the respective zone of the multiplier. However, some conditions and adjustments may vary the value of this multiplier, because the team’s score depends on the number of energy balls that the team and the opponent team have placed in the Quadcore/1multiplier.
a) The final score of a team will be doubled if it drops the energy ball more than twice than the other team ;
b) A calculation of proportions will be made if a team has less than the double, but more energy balls than the opposing team ;
c) If both teams have the same amount of energy balls, the score will not be modified ;
If we succeed in winning Converto and beating our opponents, Mike and Sully will finally be able to return to Monstropolis!
